Get to know what works for you
A free app from the Brain and Mind Centre, made with young people, for keeping track of how you are going, seeing what affects it, and bringing that picture to your care.

WHY IT EXISTS
General advice says sleep more, move more and drink less. It rarely tells you which of those matters most for you. Minding Your Mind is built to help you find out. It brings your mood, sleep, activity and daily life together in one place, so the patterns that apply to you can start to show.
What it does
Quick daily check-ins
A short check-in each day covers more than mood: sleep, physical health, social connection and how you are managing. Add a diary entry and what is happening in your life sits alongside the numbers.
See your patterns
What you log turns into graphs that update as you go. Look back over weeks, notice what tends to move together, and get insights from your own data about what seems to affect your mental health.
Syncs with Apple Health
On iPhone, connect Apple Health and your sleep and activity come in on their own. Less typing, and a record that keeps going on the days you do not feel like logging anything.
Practical strategies
Short guides on sleep, physical health, anxiety and negative thoughts, social connection and purposeful activity. Grounded in evidence, shaped by young people who know what it is like, with goals to help you focus.
Better appointments
If you are seeing a GP, psychologist or other clinician, you walk in with something concrete. You can both see what is helping and what is not, and decide on your care together.
Your data, your call
You can choose to share your data, with identifying details removed, to help Brain and Mind Centre research into youth mental health. It is optional, and the privacy policy sets out what is collected.
The app is not a diagnosis and it does not replace care. It helps you see what is going on, so you, and anyone helping you, can make better decisions about what to do next.
